The Human Resources Department handles employee recruitment, all personnel matters, and Risk Management for the Town. The Town has 96 full-time employees and, in addition, we contract for Building & Safety, Engineering, Public Works Inspection and Police services.
Human Resources coordinates a comprehensive personnel program including position classification, compensation, recruitment, placement, evaluation and training. The Department coordinates the employee benefits program including health, dental, vision, long term disability and deferred compensation, coordinates labor relations for the Town, monitors state and federal legislation, such as the American With Disabilities Act and maintains confidential personnel records as well as the Town's Risk Management program.
