Department:

Under general supervision, performs the full range of work in the construction, modification, maintenance, repair, and operation of Town infrastructure, including parks and landscapes; and performs related work as required.

Requirements:
Equivalent to the completion of the twelfth (12th) grade and three (3) years of experience in construction, maintenance, or repair of parks and landscapes, general construction, or two (2) years of experience equivalent to Maintenance Worker I at the Town of Apple Valley.

• Valid California class C driver’s license with satisfactory driving record and automobile insurance.
• Must be able to obtain a Certified Playground Safety Inspection (CPSI) certification within a timeframe specified by the Town.
• Must be available to be on-call on a rotating basis. A thirty (30)-minute response time is required. This position may also be required to work some evenings, weekends and holidays.
