Position Summary: The Position: Under general supervision, performs the full range of work in the construction, modification, maintenance, repair, and operation of Town infrastructure, including streets, traffic controls and structures; and performs related work as required. Requirements: Equivalent to the completion of the twelfth (12th) grade and three (3) years of experience in construction, maintenance, or repair of streets and traffic, general construction, or two (2) years of experience equivalent to Maintenance Worker 1 at the Town of Apple Valley. - Valid California Class C driver’s license with satisfactory driving record and automobile insurance. - Must be able to successfully acquire a Class B license with Tanker Endorsements within a timeframe specified by the Town. - Must be available to be on-call for one (1) week at a time on a rotating basis. A thirty (30)-minute response time is required.
