Works under general supervision. Helps build, fix, and take care of things around town. This includes parks and landscaping. Also helps with repairs and keeping things running. Does other related tasks when needed.
You must have finished high school (12th grade). You also need at least 3 years of experience working in parks, landscaping, general construction, or repair work. Or, you can qualify with 2 years of experience as a Maintenance Worker I for the Town of Apple Valley.
- You must have a valid California Class C driver’s license.
- Your driving record must be clean, and you need to have car insurance.
- You must be able to earn a Certified Playground Safety Inspector (C.P.S.I.) certificate.
The Town will give you a deadline for when it needs to be completed.
