Works under general supervision. Leads a team of maintenance workers. Helps plan daily tasks and sets priorities. Makes sure the team completes projects and daily work. Handles both simple and complex repairs. This includes work on storm drains and sewer systems. Also does other related tasks when needed. This job will stay open until it’s filled. The first review of applications is expected on February 13, 2025.

You must have finished high school (12th grade). You also need 4 years of experience in construction, maintenance, or underground utility repair. This can include general construction work. Or, you can qualify with 2 years of experience as a Maintenance Worker II for the Town of Apple Valley. - You must have a valid California Class C driver’s license. - Your driving record must be good, and you need car insurance. - You must be able to get a California Class B driver’s license. The Town will give you a deadline to get it. You must also be able to earn a Grade 2 C.W.E.A. (California Water Environment Association) certificate in Collections. The Town will tell you how long you have to complete it.
