Youth Scholarship Program
About the Scholarship Program
We’re excited to offer a scholarship program that gives local kids free access to fun and active programs. If your child qualifies, they can join:
- Youth Basketball (Ages: 3-17)
- Day Camps (Ages: transitional kindergarten to 8th grade)
- Youth Volleyball (Ages: 3- 12th grade)
These programs help kids stay healthy, make friends, and learn teamwork and leadership. Everything happens in a safe and welcoming space.
We believe every child should have the chance to grow and succeed. This scholarship helps make that happen. It covers the full cost of participation—including jerseys for basketball and volleyball programs.
Income Guidelines
Use these rules to check if the program meets national goals. The goal is to help people with low or moderate income. If you have questions about how income limits were set, we can help.

Sources of Income
Salary
- You can give copies of your last 3 paychecks. Or you can give your most recent federal tax return.
- Another option is a letter from your job. The letter should say how much you earn and how many hours you work each week. You also need to include your last federal tax return.
Supplemental Security Income / Disability
- (The following information must not be older than six months.)
- Copy of the applicant’s monthly award check; or
- Form S.S.A.-2458 (Request from local Social Security Office); or
- Copy of applicant’s award letter; or
- Tree (3) most recent bank statements showing deposits of the award check.
Temporay Assistance for Needy Families
- Award letter stating the amount of the applicant’s benefit; or
- Copy of applicant’s most recent check; or
- Written statement from the Caseworker stating the applicant’s benefits amount.
Pension
- Copy of applicant’s most recent pension check; or
- Copy of applicant’s most recent check; or
- Bank statement from Caseworker stating the applicant’s benefits amount.
Alimony / Child Support
- Copy of applicant’s weekly or monthly check; or
- Court decree establishing payments (divorce papers); or
- An affidavit or child support signed by the applicant.
Unemployment Benefits
- Copy of award notice stating applicant’s benefits; or
- Payment booklet; or
- Unemployment affidavit signed by applicant.
Self Employed / Business Operation
- Accounting records such as profit and loss statements; or
- Previous two (2) years of income tax returns.
Interest from Bank Accounts and Cash Funds
- Letter from the bank manager stating interest earned; or passbook; or
- Bank statements showing at least twelve (12) months of interest;
- Most recent federal income tax return showing interest earned; or
- Investment statement indicating the amount of dividends earned.
Rental Property Income
- Copy of recent rent check; or
- Rent receipt book;
- Copy of rental property agreement signed by current tenant showing monthly rent; or
- Copy of applicant’s income tax return declaring earned rental income (not older than one year)
