Lifeguard Training
Jr. Lifeguard Training
This course helps kids learn the basics they need to become lifeguards. It’s a good next step after swim lessons. It keeps students involved in water safety. The Town also uses this program to find future lifeguards. Students will learn skills needed to join the lifeguard course. They will also learn how to make good decisions and communicate well. The course teaches basic lifeguard duties and safety knowledge. To finish the course, students must complete 30 hours of volunteer work.
Open Recreation Swim
Prices: $2.00 for ages 17 and under, $3.00 for ages 18 and up. All-day pass: extra $1.00 per person. Adult supervision is required for children 12 years and under. Dates and times vary by season. To view open swim times, please view our calendar.

Apple Valley Swim Club
The Apple Valley Swim Club is a recreational swim club. They focus on developing novice swimmers into strong, confident athletes. We group ages 5-17 by skill level and tailor workouts to their needs. This will lead them to the advanced level. The advanced level encourages competition in High School or USA Swimming.
Try-Outs cost $5 and take place on the last 3 class days of the prior month.
Lap Swim
Looking for a great workout? Join us for Lap Swim!
Lap swimming burns more calories than running. It also lowers blood pressure, builds muscle, and boosts heart health. Our pool is divided into 8 lanes. The water is heated to a comfortable temperature year-round. The age requirement for this program is 10 years and older.
Aqua Zumba
We currently offer aqua Zumba. The age requirement for this program is 14 years and older. Registrations are also accepted in person at the Recreation Office and Aquatic Center.
