TOWN OF APPLE VALLEY
PLANNING COMMISSION AGENDA
THURSDAY, SEPTEMBER 12, 2013 – 4:00 p.m.
SPECIAL, ON-SITE, ON LOCATION, MEETING – TRANSPORTATION TO THE SITES WILL LEAVE AT 4:00 P.M. FROM THE DEVELOPMENT SERVICES BUILDING.
VISITING TWO (2) LOCATIONS, AS LISTED BELOW:
• INTERSECTION OF OTOE AND NAVAJO ROADS;
• SOLAR PROJECT AT JOSHUA AND ESAWS ROADS
A small van will be provided for the Commissions and any other interested person on a first come, first serve basis. For those providing their own transportation, the van will leave from the Development Services Building located at 14975 Dale Evans Parkway at 4:00 p.m.
PUBLIC PARTICIPATION IS INVITED. If you wish to be heard on any item on the agenda during the Commission’s consideration of that item, or earlier if determined by the Commission, please make yourself known to Carol Miller, Project Planner, who will be facilitating the meeting.
Materials related to an item on this agenda, submitted to the Commission after distribution of the agenda packet, are available for public inspection in the Town Clerk’s Office at 14955 Dale Evans Parkway, Apple Valley, CA during normal business hours. Such documents are also available on the Town of Apple Valley website at www.applevalley.org subject to staff’s ability to post the documents before the meeting.

PUBLIC HEARING ITEMS
1. Photovoltaic Solar Farm Standards Discussion. The Planning Commission will review and discuss the standards for photovoltaic solar farms. Following the Commission’s discussion and direction to staff, a Development Code Amendment will be brought back for Commission consideration.

Recommendation: Provide staff with direction for recommended revision for a Development Code Amendment
