For life-threatening emergencies please call 9-1-1. For animal related emergencies, within the Town limits of Apple Valley, please call our after-hours dispatch number at (760) 961-6001. After normal business hours, an on-call Animal Services Officer is available for emergency response only.
Animal related emergencies consist of the following: Severely injured animals (this means injuries are considered life threatening to the animal) or vicious dog(s) threatening, attacking and/or biting citizens, livestock or other animals. If you are reporting a deceased animal that is an immediate traffic hazard, please call our after-hours dispatch number at (760) 961-6001.
