Residential Rehabilitation Loan Program (RRLP):

The RRLP Program uses federal funding from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development to assist low-moderate income persons with home improvements. Our primary goals is to improve the health and safety of residents living in substandard housing, prevent blight in residential neighborhoods, and to improve the structural integrity of the Town's housing supply.

The Residential Rehabilitation Loan Program (RRLP) provides loans of up to $50,000 for repair work to single-family owner-occupied homes (1-4 units). The program require that all projects assisted must substantially benefit low- moderate income persons. The program is available to homeowners who live within the Apple Valley Town limits. The RRLP loans are deferred and do not require repayment for up to 30 years; however, they Note will be due and payable upon sale, transfer or if you cease to occupy the home as your primary residence. Loan funding is available on a first come, first serve basis, which is based upon submittal of a full and complete application package.
