Civic Center Park Fitness Center

Healthy Apple Valley is proud to announce the opening of our outdoor fitness equipment area at Civic Center Park. The fitness area consists of 6 pieces of Healthbeat outdoor fitness equipment. The project was funded in part through an Economic Initiative Grant that the Town received in 2006 and earmarked for improvements to Civic Center Park. Additional funding for the project was secured through a $10,000 grant from Kaiser Permanente and their Community Benefit program specifically for the installation of outdoor fitness equipment in the park. The final funding for the additional amenities, benches, concrete and signage was raised through the efforts of the Healthy Apple Valley program. The installation of the equipment was done by Town Public Works and Parks and Recreation staff.

Fitness stations are available for use from dawn to dusk. Must be 13 years and over to use the equipment.
