After School Activities Program
A.S.A.P
The After School Activities Program offers a variety of locations for after-school childcare needs. Children will enjoy spending time with our staff as they explore culinary arts, work together in S.T.E.M activities, create masterpieces of visual arts, focus on teamwork while playing sports, and receive assistance in homework help. The program is often at capacity, please call our office at 760-240-7880 to see if space is available.
All initial registrations to the program will be required to be done in-person at the Recreation Department in Town Hall. |
Schedule:
All ASAP sites utilize a flexible schedule base on location, order may be effected.

Weekly Fee:
Please note the fee for A.S.A.P. is $55.00 per week during the 2022-2023 School Year. The weekly rate will also remain $55.00 during the minimum day schedule. Please note that due to the overwhelming demand for the ASAP program parents are required to pay for the program each week; even when the child is not in attendance. A fee waiver is available for qualifying families information is listed below.

All children attending the After School Activates Program are required to be currently enrolled at the site location.

Fee Waiver Information:
AVUSD Students-
Starting February 1st, 2023 AVUSD will now be absorbing the fees of A.S.A.P & Day Camp for students who are TK-6th Grade. A voucher must be submitted for the initial registration, the voucher will remain on the account for the duration of the school year. A new voucher will need to be submitted each school year.
AAE Students-
Starting January 9th, 2023 AAE will be absorbing the fees of A.S.A.P & Day Camp for students who meet the qualifications listed below:
TK-6th grade students who are:
Foster or Homeless youth
or
Receives free/reduced lunch
A voucher must be submitted for the initial registration, the voucher will remain on the account for the duration of the school year. A new voucher will need to be submitted each school year.
Those who do not meet the qualifications above will not qualify for the voucher and all fees will be required at the time of registration.
Intent to Join:
Registration indicates your desire to join the After School Activities Program. All those who register will be pulled if space allows. In the case where there are more participants registered than space, a lottery will take place to determine registration. The ASAP Lottery participants will be selected at random using Random.org.

Please be sure to register each child with the intent to join if you have multiple.
Your child must attend the school they are registering for.
This registration DOES NOT guarantee a spot in the 2023-2024 program.

If selected from the Lottery, we will notify acceptance/denial by email.
