One of the best ways to show your family you love them is to keep them safe. Learn how to do just that at the Family Preparedness Fair on Saturday, May 6 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Town of Apple Valley Conference Center.

Stop by to experience the earthquake seismic simulator, get a tour of the Apple Valley Fire Mobile Command Bus and see fire engines and police vehicles up close. The Town of Apple Valley and the Police Activities league has joined together to host the event. Attendees will receive information on fire prevention, water safety, car seat installation, utility safety, children’s finger printing and more.

 Free hot dogs, face painting and giveaways will be offered while supplies last.
