Town of Apple Valley Hosts 17th Annual Pet Fair

September 17, 2024 – Apple Valley, CA – The Town of Apple Valley’s Animal Services Department is excited to announce the 17th Annual Pet Fair, taking place on Saturday, October 19, 2024, from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at Civic Center Park. This year’s event will be a day full of fun and fur, with a 1960s theme that will have tails wagging and spirits grooving!

 

This free, family-friendly event offers free parking, free admission, and welcomes well-mannered pets to join in the festivities. Attendees can look forward to a variety of activities, including:

 

  • Vendor Booths: Explore a wide range of pet products, services, and local crafts.
  • Delicious Food: Enjoy tasty treats from local food vendors.
  • Pet Contests: Enter your pet in one of our exciting contests for just a $1 entry fee (cash only). Prizes will be awarded!
  • Dog Adoptions: Meet your new best friend! Adoption fees can be paid by cash or check.
  • Dog Licensing: Available for both Town of Apple Valley and San Bernardino County residents. Payments accepted by cash or check.
  • Microchipping: Ensure your pet's safety with low-cost microchipping services (cash only).
  • Low-Cost Vaccine Clinic: Keep your pets healthy with affordable vaccinations (cash only).
  • Live Music: Enjoy tunes from a live band, adding to the festive atmosphere.
  • Bounce House: Kids can jump and play for free in the bounce house.

 

Additionally, there will be an Art Contest! Drop off your art between 10:00 AM and 11:00 AM and pick it up between 2:00 PM and 3:00 PM. The theme for the contest is “Fun in the Sun!” and it’s open to all ages. Entry requires a donation of $10 for ages 13 and up, and $5 for ages 10 and under. Art will be judged, and winners will receive medals.
