Happy trails to you!
The Town of Apple Valley Equestrian Advisory Committee is our first Adopt A Trail participant, shown here at their first clean up activity.
Join the Town of Apple Valley’s Adopt-A-Trail Program and show your community pride! Individuals, families, community organizations, equestrian groups, recreational clubs, and businesses are encouraged to take responsibility for keeping a specified neighborhood of trails clean of weeds and debris and report any obstructions such as fences for at least two years.
By participating, you can contribute to keeping our unique trail system clean and safe. Participants also receive and invitation to the Town’s annual Volunteer Appreciation Luncheon.
Applications and other program information can be found below, or picked up at Town Hall. Signs recognizing a business, organization or individual/ family volunteer will be provided and installed by the Town for a fee of $250 (our cost). The sign is optional and volunteers or service groups may participate in the program and receive all other supplies without charge.
Participants are asked to pick up litter and weeds at least four times per year for at least two years in the area selected by the participant. All participants must complete a Liability Waiver Form.
We invite you to show your pride in Apple Valley, and join our “Adopt-A-Trail” family! For information call (760) 240-7000 x 7074 or email Karen Kelley.
