Animal Fostering

Animal Fostering

Volunteer Kristin

Thank you for your interest in becoming a foster parent.  As a foster caregiver you will be providing a temporary home for kittens, puppies, dogs, cats, or other animals in need.  The devotion and care given during this time will allow the animal a second chance to be adopted by a loving family.  Plus, you'll receive unconditional love and attention right back from the animal you nurture.

If you are interested in helping young, sick, or injured animals, but cannot make a long term commitment, fostering may be a rewarding alternative to pet ownership.

Fostering requires completion of a foster application and approval by the shelter supervisor. Fostering is only available in the High Desert.
