New shade structures were purchased and installed at Corwin Park, Mendel Park and Thunderbird Park along with concrete picnic tables and trash receptacles. The project was funded by a Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) which allowed for the replacement of the smaller, older structures at each of these parks.
